Chris and Margo Mathewson opened Spectrum Home Services in Eastern Jackson County in response to the ever growing need for quality, caring home services for Jackson County families and businesses. The experiences of twenty five years in the real estate appraisal field visiting thousands of homes in the Kansas City area and more than ten years as volunteers for Meals On Wheels has taught us that busy families, seniors and local business’s need a helping hand from a trustworthy source to save them time and money in their day to day lives and work.

The Mathewson family and our Spectrum family have a mission to bring the personal touch, the sense of community, and the act of caring to all those we work with and for.
Caring For . . . Our Community. We at Spectrum understand how important staying involved is with the health of our community. Spectrum is the proud business sponsor of the Kids Play It Forward organization. Kids Play It Forward collects new and lightly used youth sporting equipment to assist those young athletes in our area who cannot afford to properly outfit themselves to play their best. Spectrum home cleaning, yard maintenance and handyman employees will happily pick-up youth sporting equipment for this great organization and also collect clothes, toys, and other items for local charities. Keeping our community active and healthy is important to all of us.

Our Elite cleaning staff uses only EcoLab environmentally friendly cleaning products and reusable cloth towels for cleaning rather than wasteful paper towels. Our yard maintenance services take all yard waste to local public mulching and composting sites. Our handymen are lead free EPA trained and focused on “clean” disposal of waste materials.
